Mail-in FAQ
How do I start a mail-in repair?
Fill out the contact form or text me with your device model and the problem. I'll open a ticket and send you shipping instructions. Please don't ship a device before a ticket is created.
How should I pack my device?
Use a sturdy box with at least 2 inches of padding on all sides. Don't include the charger or case unless I ask for it. Include a note with your name, phone number and ticket number.
Is my device insured on the way back?
Yes. Devices shipped back are sent with full coverage insurance through the shipping carrier for full replacement value. I recommend insuring the package on the way in too.
What if it can't be repaired?
Diagnosis is free. If you decide not to go ahead with the repair, I'll ship it back to you.
Told it’s not worth fixing? Get a second opinion.
Diagnostics are free. Tell me the model and what’s going on, and I’ll let you know honestly whether it can be saved and what it’ll cost — before any work starts.
